IJ Start Canon PIXMA E410 Configuration– The Pixma E410 does not differ from previous “all-in-one” Canon printers that are already on the market. It is a rectangular chassis made of polycarbonate with a matte and textured black finish. The body is fairly small, but we are already accustomed to this, since most printers are. In turn, you get a fairly light body that you can easily move home or a small office.
The printer front of the printer prints paper. The tray is well hidden when not in use, but any user can just pull it out to grab the printed document. It does not apply as much as we thought at first, but it will cope even with legal paper.
When checking at the top, we have a feed hopper with useful paper size markers. This will help you keep paper on paper while avoiding paper jams.
The second cover on top opens the printer flatbed scanner. Maximum document size is A4. There is also a size markup around the edge of the scanner to help you arrange the document before closing the lid.
The printer’s operating buttons are located to the left of the scanner. Here we have an instant launch button for the copier, or in grayscale grayscale or color, stop button and power supply. There are also LED indicators that show the status of the printer.
The back side of the printer looks less clear than the front panel. The back cover shows hinges on covers, power supplies and I / O ports.
After installing the print cartridges, just let the printer configure itself, which takes about a few minutes. After this, as stated in the manual, you can now connect via USB to your computer.
In general, we did not have any configuration issues. Because Windows 10 automatically installs drivers when you first connect to the printer, this device is for connecting and playing back. After downloading Word, you have already seen the printer in the print menu. The window still has a CD if you need additional Canon software to help you print, or if things did not succeed during installation.
Since it is an all-in-one printer, it can print, scan and copy. To print and scan, the printer must be connected to the PC. But to copy a document, you can do it directly on the printer by pressing a button.
The maximum print resolution is 4800 x 600 dpi and up to A4 format. For scanning it is 600 x 1200 dpi and, again, the A4 format. Obviously, the copy function is limited to A4 size paper and is executed in color or in shades of gray.
Quality and speed of printing
According to the Canon, the Pixma E410 is capable of printing (ISO standard) up to 4 images per minute on plain paper of A4 format color and 8 pages per minute in monochrome style, as well as in the Pixma E470.
But with our own use in the default settings and using legal paper, the printer was able to print the full page image on average 44 seconds, slower than the Pixma E470. The full page text will take about 9 seconds on similar paper, which is surprisingly faster than its wireless cousin.
Regarding quality, again, this is normal. This is not the brightest imprint that we saw on paper, because it is an inkjet printer, not a laser, but it will do for daily papers and schoolwork. Of course, you can always customize the settings before printing depending on your preference. Decreasing print quality will result in faster printing.
If you’re on the market for an all-in-one printer, you can check out the Canon Pixma E410, which has SRP Php3.695.
